Turmeric Mayo
Okay so the health coach in me feels the needs to educate you here. Most mayonnaise’s you buy at the supermarket will have industrialised oils in them. High in pro-inflammatory omega sixes, which essentially increases AGE’s and free radicals (in other words cell disruption). Oils we want in our Mayo are avocado and olive oil. So the sooner you start making your own Mayo, the better for you.

Ingredients

4 egg yolk

1 tsp dijon mustard

splash Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp turmeric
-
pinch sea salt
-
pinch black pepper

200mls each olive oil & avocado oil
Method:
- Place the egg yolks in a stick blender jug
- Add the mustard, ACV , lemon juice, turmeric, seasoning and whisk together with the stick blender
- Slowly, but consistency, add the oil(s) whilst blending
- Continue to blend until it reaches mayo consistency
