The Perfect Boiled Egg
2 biodynamic/organic egg
1 tsp organic salted butter
Here’s how it rolled:
It’s not always easy to secure the perfect egg, and as a parent I know all too well, if the egg isn’t cooked right then breakfast can be a write-off 😉
- The key is to place the eggs in a small saucepan and cover with enough water to just cover the eggs. Place on a high heat with the lid on til boiling. Remove from the heat, keep the lid on and set a timer for 6 minutes.
- This method will ensure the yolk is still soft and the white isn’t rubbery and overcooked.
- Adjust the time to suit your preference. I then use a knife to take the top off the egg and pop some butter on to melt into the yolk….YUM!
