Macadamia Smoothie

Okay, now I’m going to give you the heads up here. Maccas are one of the fattiest and most delicious nuts on the planet and this smoothie is mostly made up of fats (albeit good fats!) so while this is super good for you and fricken moreish, GO EASY ON IT or you’ll stack on the weight. When I first started dating my wife, I introduced her to this smoothie and a few months later she had to check herself into macadamia smoothie rehab. Her skin was GLOWING, but she wasn’t happy with me once she found out how many calories were in it. (for the record, she looked great to me) So, you know that old saying everything in moderation? It applies to this one. Don’t worry guys and gals, I’ve got your back.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml coconut cream
  • 1 tbs macadamia butter
  • ¼ cup macadamias
  • 1 tbs pepitas
  • 1 tbs hemp seeds
  • 1 tbs MCT oil
  • 30g protein powder

Method:

  • Throw all the ingredients in a blender and blitz for 20 seconds or until fully combined.
  • Pour into a glass and serve
