Bullet Proof Chicken Broth
There are a whole raft of physiological benefits to consume animal broth. Chicken broth is made from collagen-rich parts of the chicken such as feet. It's no wonder that chicken broth or soup is the go-to when feeling under the weather. Full of glucosamine, gelatin, chondroitin and collagen which helps to heal and repair soft tissue as well as provide amino acids for general health and well being. Chicken broth is delicious on its own or with a hint of lemon juice and seasoning but here I've added a few more ingredients for flavour, mouthfeel and to boost ketone production. MCT oil is fantastic tool to help with ketogensis. You could add more veggies (kale, cabbage, tomatoes etc) to make this more of a substantial meal.

300mls chicken broth

1 tsp ghee

1 tsp MCT oil

1 small carrot - diced

1 cup spinach

pinch sea salt

pinch black pepper
Method:
- Heat the broth to boiling.
- Once boiling remove from the heat and transfer to a blender
- Add the remaining ingredients and blitz for 20sec (ensure lid is on securely)
- Remove from the jug, season and serve
